- Myth: Only women with a family history get breast cancer.
Fact: Most women diagnosed have no family history at all. - Myth: Wearing underwire bras causes cancer.
Fact: No scientific evidence supports this claim. - Myth: Breast cancer only affects older women.
Fact: While risk increases with age, young women can get breast cancer too.
✅ How to Reduce Your Risk
There is no guaranteed way to prevent breast cancer, but these steps can lower your risk:
- ✔ Maintain a healthy weight and stay physically active
- ✔ Limit alcohol and processed foods
