The Ministry of Health has confirmed the payment of nurses' training allowances covering the period from January to June 2025, bringing long-awaited relief to thousands of nursing trainees across the country.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, during a press briefing at the Ministry's headquarters in Accra on Wednesday.

According to Dr. Okoe-Boye, the government remains committed to the welfare of trainee nurses and continues to prioritize healthcare investments as part of national development.
